The Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC) at Fatima Jinnah Women University is committed to strengthening research and promoting a culture of innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. At ORIC, our job is straightforward: help FJWU’s researchers, faculty, and students turn good ideas into real outcomes. That means backing quality research, encouraging work across disciplines instead of within silos, and building working relationships between the university, industry, and the wider community.

We’re involved at every stage, from shaping a research proposal and finding funding for it, to supporting patents and helping student and faculty startups get off the ground through our Business Incubation Center. From proposal to product, we help turn ideas into IP, and IP into ventures that can actually stand on their own in the market.
