ORIC-FJWU OVERVIEW
The Office of Research, Innovation, and Commercialization (ORIC) at Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) was established on 1st January 2012, with the primary goal of bringing together intellectual talents from within the University. The core purpose of ORIC is to foster interdisciplinary research collaboration across various faculties and industries, in close partnership with the broader society. FJWU ORIC has facilitated collaboration among researchers with diverse backgrounds, encouraging them to work across disciplines and provide valuable insights to society through policy recommendations.
The Research Support division actively encourages collaboration with private companies and other universities, fostering communication among researchers to stimulate innovation and enhance the visibility and productivity. FJWU ORIC initiatives serve as a central hub for the collaborative creation of a better future society.We provide comprehensive support for grant acquisition, project management, and research publication to ensure the highest quality of research outputs. We believe in fostering cooperation between academia, government, business, and civil society.
Furthermore, our Innovation and Commercialization construct strives to establish an academic foundation that deals with policy, management, and the social design of science, technology, and innovation. Our aim is to implement technologies within society through commercialization, bridging the gap between academic research and practical applications. We place special emphasis on developing entrepreneurial skills among women, supporting their innovative ideas, and facilitating their growth into successful business ventures.
